PSG bounced back from their 3-2 home defeat in the Champions League first leg to knock out Barcelona with a 4-1 victory at the Camp Nou, securing a spot in the Champions League semi-finals.

Barcelona‘s hopes for this season took a decisive hit as they were eliminated from the Champions League by Paris Saint-Germain.

The defining moment came with three goals in the second half that saw PSG triumph 4-1 on the evening, securing a 6-4 win on aggregate.

The match had started promisingly for Barcelona, with Raphinha finding the net early after an assist from Lamine Yamal, marking his third goal of the series.

But the dynamics shifted dramatically after Ronald Araujo received a red card for a crucial foul on Bradley Barcola, who was breaking towards the goal.

The situation grew tenser when Ousmane Dembele, formerly of Barcelona, scored against his old team, bringing the aggregate score to a narrow 4-3 by halftime.

Using their numerical advantage in the second half, PSG responded forcefully. Vitinha’s impressive long-range shot evened the score overall, setting the stage for Kylian Mbappe.

He first converted a penalty, awarded for a foul on Dembele by Joao Cancelo, and then sealed the win with a goal in the 89th minute.
