The Las Vegas Raiders suffered a disappointing defeat against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday, losing 36-22 at home.

With this loss, head coach Antonio Pierce’s team fell to 1-2, while the Panthers secured their first victory of the season in their initial game without quarterback Bryce Young.

The Raiders’ offense, led by offensive coordinator Luke Getsy and quarterback Gardner Minshew, struggled significantly, scoring on just one of their first nine drives. By the time the fourth quarter rolled around, they found themselves in a substantial 33-7 hole.

After the game, discontent among Raiders fans grew, with many expressing their frustrations on social media, demanding Getsy’s firing.

Comments such as:“Luke Getsy is the problem, it’s not hard to see,” and “Make a business decision and FIRE LUKE GETSY!” highlighted the fans’ frustrations.

One fan even drew a comparison between Getsy’s tenure and that of Young, stating:

“If Bryce Young can be done after two games, Luke Getsy can be done after three.”

The Raiders’ defense also faced criticism, having been exploited by the Panthers, who had struggled offensively in prior games.

Quarterback Andy Dalton, leading the Panthers, had a standout performance, throwing for over 300 yards and three touchdowns. Meanwhile, the Panthers’ running back Chuba Hubbard rushed for 114 yards, adding to the Raiders’ woes.

With the defense yielding such poor results, upcoming games against teams like the Browns may pose further challenges.
