In a recent 2025 NFL Mock Draft, CBS Sports predicted that the Las Vegas Raiders might select Georgia quarterback Carson Beck as their future signal-caller.

Gardner Minshew’s Week 1 performance did little to convince anyone that he’s the long-term solution for the team, intensifying the chatter about who will lead the Raiders moving forward.

CBS Sports projects the Raiders will use the 6th overall pick on Beck, reuniting him with their 2024 first-round pick, tight end Brock Bowers. While there’s no clear consensus on who the top quarterbacks will be in the upcoming draft, Beck is seen as a stable option for a team that has struggled to find consistency at the most critical position.

“No one has any clue how the quarterback position will shake out in April,” CBS Sports noted, “but Beck feels like the safest bet, and the Raiders need stability at the game’s most vital position.”

Fans should expect more speculations, including potential drafts of Quinn Ewers or Sheduer Sanders, as the season unfolds. In the meantime, Raiders supporters may find solace in dreaming about a more stable offensive future, especially after a rocky Week 1 performance.
