Steph Curry delivered an electrifying performance for Team USA, scoring 18 points in the first half against Serbia in an exhibition game at Ethiad Arena, Abu Dhabi.
After a subdued three-point effort against Australia two days prior, Curry came out strong, leading Team USA to a 59-45 halftime lead.
Curry, seeking his first Olympic gold medal, started the game by scoring the first three points and continued to dominate, finishing the half with 18 points in just 10 minutes.
His performance included a vintage four-point play in the second quarter. Curry’s shooting was impressive, going 6-of-9 from the field and 4-of-6 from beyond the arc, which is closer in international basketball.
Team USA, preparing for the Paris 2024 Olympics, has two more tune-up games against South Sudan and Germany. With Curry in top form, the team looks poised for a strong Olympic run. The Warriors star’s dazzling display underscores his readiness to lead Team USA to potential gold.
