At the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards, Taylor Swift made a powerful impact, winning seven awards, including Video of the Year for “Fortnight,” featuring Post Malone.

While her numerous wins were noteworthy, the most talked-about moment was her heartfelt acknowledgment of her relationship with Kansas City Chiefs tight end, Travis Kelce.

During her acceptance speech, Swift, who has been linked to Kelce since a 2022 Eras Tour concert, sweetly referred to him as her “boyfriend”—a rare public mention of their romance.

Swift shared a touching moment from her time working on the video, saying, “When I’d finish a take, I’d always hear someone cheering from across the studio. That person was my boyfriend, Travis.” She further expressed her admiration, adding, “Everything this man touches turns to happiness, fun, and magic.” This acknowledgment received a roar of approval from the audience.

Despite not being able to attend due to NFL training commitments, Kelce’s presence was clearly felt. With her seven awards, Swift now holds the record for the most VMAs by a solo artist, marking yet another milestone in her illustrious career.
