Three Blues players are invited to join the Three Lions squad for international duty.

England manager Gareth Southgate has summoned Chelsea assistant captain Ben Chilwell, Conor Gallagher, and Cole Palmer to join the national squad for two significant warm-up matches leading up to the European Championship this summer.

As England has already secured qualification for Euro 2024 in Germany, the focus now shifts to earnest preparations for the tournament.

The team is set to engage in back-to-back friendlies at Wembley Stadium during the upcoming international break, facing off against Brazil on Saturday, March 23, followed by a clash with Belgium three days later.

Among those selected for these crucial encounters are three players from Chelsea, marking their presence on the international stage.

Ben Chilwell returns to the squad after an absence since the qualifiers in September, having missed the last two international breaks due to injury.

Conor Gallagher maintains his streak of being included in every England squad since the 2022 World Cup, boasting five appearances during Euro qualifying matches. Meanwhile, Cole Palmer earns his second senior call-up for England, a testament to his stellar performances for Chelsea.
