Legendary golfer Tiger Woods is in metro Detroit this week to support his son, Charlie, who is competing in the U.S. Junior Amateur at Oakland Hills.
This prestigious event, hosted at the historic golf club in Bloomfield Township, features 264 of the world’s top junior golfers. The competition began with two rounds on Monday and Tuesday, after which the top 64 players will advance to match play, which continues through the weekend.
Charlie Woods began his campaign on the North Course on Monday morning and will take on the South Course on Tuesday afternoon.
This event marks a significant milestone in Charlie’s budding golf career, with Tiger Woods in attendance, adding a layer of excitement and inspiration for the young competitors and fans alike.
