Travis Kelce, the star tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, recently revealed on his “New Heights” podcast that the only scenario in which he would consider leaving the Chiefs is to play for a potential NFL team in London.

Recorded in London with his brother Jason, the episode delved into the possibility of the NFL expanding overseas, a concept both Kelce brothers enthusiastically support.

Kelce expressed his eagerness for the NFL to establish a team in London, stating:

“I’m waiting for that team to play for another team other than the Chiefs. That’s the only situation is if I get to play abroad.”

He firmly believes that the NFL will introduce an international team within the next decade.

Currently enjoying international fame partly due to his high-profile relationship with singer Taylor Swift, Kelce is exploring new business ventures and is set to host a television game show.

Despite these new endeavors, he recently signed a new contract with the Chiefs, reinforcing his commitment to the team. His dream of playing for a London-based NFL team remains a distant but intriguing possibility.

When Jason Kelce asked Travis how long it might take for an NFL team to be launched outside the United States, Travis confidently responded, “Less than 10 years.”

The NFL has been expanding its international presence through yearly games, drawing new audiences and growing the sport’s global brand. This expansion makes the idea of a London team increasingly plausible.

Despite his comments about playing abroad, Travis Kelce is fully focused on the Chiefs and their pursuit of a third consecutive Super Bowl victory.

He understands the historical significance of achieving a three-peat and is determined not to let his aspirations of playing in London distract him from his current goals with Kansas City.
