Leeds United’s Crysencio Summerville is drawing significant attention in the transfer market, particularly from Paris Saint-Germain.
However, PSG’s pursuit of the Dutch winger appears to be encountering obstacles as interest from other clubs intensifies.
Summerville, who played 49 matches for Leeds United, scored 21 goals and provided 10 assists. Despite initial reports from ESPN NL suggesting PSG and Liverpool were leading the race for his signature, a new contender has emerged.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano revealed that West Ham United has made an initial offer to Leeds United for Summerville. While discussions have taken place with the player, the transfer remains far from finalized due to the high cost involved.
Additionally, AS Roma has shown interest in Summerville but only as an alternative if their primary target, Soulé, becomes unavailable.
Romano further mentioned that Liverpool and PSG might need to spend between £35 million and £40 million to secure Summerville. Leeds United Live indicated that PSG’s efforts to sign the player have stalled. Meanwhile, other Premier League clubs like Crystal Palace, Newcastle, and Aston Villa are also preparing to make offers for the talented winger.
