Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill, with three years remaining on his current contract, is pushing for a new deal amid a surge in lucrative contracts for top NFL wideouts.

Speaking to Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston, Hill praised his teammate Jaylen Waddle’s new contract and acknowledged the record-breaking deal of Justin Jefferson. Hill, currently earning $19.6 million for the season, with his salary escalating to $43.9 million in 2026, expressed his eagerness to secure a more fitting contract given his performance and market trends.

Hill, 30, highlighted his excitement about the evolving market and his place in it, noting:

“I’m very excited just to be a part of the old wave, which was $30 million, and Justin Jefferson came in and surpassed that, man. So, very proud of those guys, happy for obviously my teammate Waddle getting his new deal. So, for guys like me, that’s great. I’m 30 years old, also looking for a new deal. So, very, very excited to see where I fit in that category. It’s amazing.”

As Hill remains a key player for the Dolphins, the team may look to renegotiate his contract before the final year to align with the current market for elite receivers.
