The TUGR highlighted this achievement on social media, noting Charlie’s rise to 38th in his class and acknowledging his potential as a Division 1 prospect. The tweet emphasized his trending upward trajectory in junior golf.

As Charlie prepares for the US Junior Amateur, he follows in the footsteps of his legendary father, Tiger Woods, who won the championship three consecutive times from 1991 to 1993.

The tournament features two rounds of stroke play, with the top 64 players advancing to match play. The ultimate winner will earn a spot in the 2025 US Open at Oakmont.

This week, Charlie is competing in the 54-hole Press Thornton Future Masters at Dothan Country Club in Alabama, participating in the 15-18 age category. He opened with a 3-over 73.

The tournament’s progress can be followed on WTVY, showcasing Charlie’s continuing development and promising future in golf.
